Mixxx is available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux:

Ubuntu

Download Mixxx 1.11.0 for Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid) through 13.04 (Raring):

Open a terminal, and enter:

    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mixxx/mixxx    sudo apt-get update    sudo apt-get install mixxx libportaudio2  

This will install the latest version of Mixxx fromthe MixxxPPA on Launchpad.

Ubuntu Repositories:
Ubuntu also provides a version of Mixxxwhich can be installed directly from the Ubuntu SoftwareCentre. This version is usually woefully out of date; thereforeusing the PPA is preferable.
